Tailored support from atWork Australia in Norlane, VIC, leads Renee to identify her passion and commitment to assisting her community.
In May 2024, Workforce Australia client, Renee, was connected with Job Coach, Jackline. This was her first time working with an Employment Services Provider. So, Jackline spent time explaining the system to her, and how it can benefit her on her journey to employment.
After getting to know Renee’s skills, interests, and goals for employment, her job plan was formed. Her job plan was referred back to at all stages of Renee’s journey.
This plan included a referral to our in-house Wellness Services, as Renee had just experienced a relationship breakdown.
In addition to these Wellness sessions, Renee was also referred to our JobsNow and MoneyMinded sessions, for assistance to identify her employment goals.
These sessions were hosted by Pre-Employment Facilitator, Preet, who noticed a great improvement in Renee from when she first met her.
“Our internal courses have assisted Renee to identify her passion. She decided to go for community services,” said Preet.
The information shared with Renee really left a lasting impact and inspired her.
“I have shared many of the aspects of these courses with my friends and family so they can use the great tips and information intheir lives too,” said Renee.
With this new goal in mind, a brand-new resume and cover letter to attract employers highlighting her skills.
Jackline is currently working to find a suitable, and sustainable position for Renee.
