60-year-old Workforce Australia client Steven, from Drysdale, VIC describes himself as ‘Old School’.

Preet also assisted Steven with his passport renewal application and taught him digital skills such as how to use Zoom, face time and a basic introduction to digital technology.
He didn’t expect the level of support he received.
“Steven didn’t have anyone to help him with his online skills, and he was really grateful for the help with his passport while also learning how to use systems online,” said Preet.
He also didn’t have a resume, so he was referred to Jobs Now to support him to build a new resume.
When Steven landed an interview at a local warehouse, the atWork Australia team supported him by connecting him to external service ‘groomed to go’, who helped him look his best for the interview with new clothes.
While atWork Australia supported him with a fuel voucher to attend his interview.
“Steven felt assisted and heard, he appreciated all the help provided by atWork Australia,” said Preet.
“I am old school and have always struggled with online stuff. I’m so grateful for atWork Australia assisting me and finding me a job,” said Steven.
