Workforce Australia client, Nolene entered the atWork Australia office in North Perth, WA beaming with positivity. She was eager to return to work.
To achieve her goals, she was partnered with Job Coach, Filda. Filda worked with Noelene to identify her strengths and weaknesses, and potential barriers. Ensuring she was applying for roles that met her skills and abilities and demonstrate her great work ethic.
Noelene was very open to upskilling in every way possible and engaging with any program to support her job prospects.
With the tailored assistance from Filda, Noelene attended a range of programs and events, allowing her to upskill, prepare for work and network.
These activities included attending a local First Steps to Success event hosted by atWork Australia. This event brings together employers, training providers and community organisations in the one place to support clients on their journey to employment.

Noelene was also enrolled into a Certifcate III Business course with a focus on Medical Administration.
With a history in administration, the course taught her new skills whilst also allowing her to touch up on others. This later turned out to be pivotal in the position she secured as a Support Worker.
In addition to the course, Nolene was also financially supported by atWork Australia through the purchase of interview clothing and a range of vouchers for food, and transportation.
Nolene is now working full-time and loves it. She enjoys making a difference to the people she works with.
