Alicia (22) is an individual who loves volunteering, she was motivated to look for her first job and was interested in working at her local McDonalds.
Alicia experienced difficulties securing employment as she is living with health conditions such as cerebral palsy, vision loss and anxiety. She was also experiencing transport issues.
Due to her health conditions, she was not able to obtain a driver’s license however, Alicia’s determination to find a suitable job and her persistence and focus led her towards the path of success.
Alicia met Job Coach, Kelly at atWork Australia in Charlestown, NSW. Kelly worked with Alicia on the Jobs Now Program, obtaining her Police Check and work trial arrangements. Employer Engagement Consultant Ashleigh supported Alicia by referring her to suitable opportunities.
