Firas (26) experienced physical limitations due to a motorbike accident which caused damage to his arm. Firas was however very keen to find work and keep himself busy. He is interested in Fitness and Health.
Firas experienced challenges in physical labour and was not able to lift heavy items. Centrelink referred Firas to atWork Australia in Miller where he met Job Coach Mary.
Mary assisted Firas in his job search so he could secure suitable employment. Mary also encouraged Firas to apply for different roles and secured a temporary role at TKL curtains so Firas could support himself financially during Covid19, until he gains work.

Firas was able to secure employment at Crunch Fitness with Mary’s assistance.
When Mary told Firas about his new role he: “was happy and felt very good about having a job.”

Mary says: “Firas was very flexible and understanding. Due to Covid19 impacting many industries, he was willing to try employment in different industries he was not familiar in. Firas took the initiative after the lockdown to find employment in the field he has interest in, which is Crunch Fitness where he is currently working.”
