Ian had been unemployed for one year, but he was always eager to return to work in the Construction industry as a Traffic Controller.
However, due to his health conditions, Ian required cataract surgery every few weeks, followed by a lengthy recovery period which forced Ian out of work.

Destiny discussed the opportunity with Ian, and he jumped at the chance. Together Destiny and Ian moved quickly to secure the position; Ian immediately attending an information session, completed training and the induction process.

Unfortunately, after a few months Ian wasn’t getting enough shifts. Ian was proactive and started applying for new jobs and secured a role with another traffic control company. Ian was very professional and worked closely with his Job Coach, Destiny, to keep her updated on the change of employment.
Destiny said, “Ian was always on the ball when I asked him to complete training and induction to fast-track him towards employment; Ian was always happy to pick up the phone and call me if he needed assistance”.
Ian was relieved that he secured a job so early after being connected with atWork Australia, Ian said he is just happy to be back in the workforce.
