With no expectations on what an employment services provider is, and how they can assist, Workforce Australia client, Dale (54) entered the atWork Australia office in Norlane, VIC, with an open mind.
Dale was new to Workforce Australia, and Centrelink. He was unsure of what to expect from employment services, and how it all works. He was unfamiliar with the points based activation system (PBAS) and had never had a resume. He was starting from square one.
He was currently working casually as a welder, but was seeking more sustainable, and secure employment.
In his first appointment with his Job Coach, he was referred to the ‘Ready Set Go’ program to learn more about Workforce Australia, and the support we can provide.
The ‘Ready Set Go’ program teaches clients how to report PBAS, upload job searches, and how we can provide tailored assistance on their journey.
