Workforce Australia client, Chloe*, always put other people’s needs before her own. She had recently moved to Two Wells, South Australia, to support her family with their caring needs.
Chloe had been without work for almost two years when she connected with Job Coach, Rebekah.
“Chloe is a smart, funny woman who is committed to her family. She is always there to help them, but found it hard to ask for assistance for herself,” said Rebekah.
“I worked with Chloe to build her motivation, confidence and supported her to identify her own personal goals.”
Chloe was referred to atWork Australia’s Wellness Services for additional support.
Once Chloe understood there was a supportive team in her corner she began to open-up about her goals and things she wanted for herself.
Her goal was to gain a flexible role so she would have a work/ life balance, allowing her to still support her family.
“I was proud of Chloe for identifying her own personal goal. She could also see how the financial benefits of working would support her family even further,” said Rebekah.
The atWork Australia team supported Chloe with fuel and food assistance while she was looking for work.
She was also supported to purchase work clothing for her upcoming interviews, helping further support her confidence.
“My Job Coach at atWork Australia in Two Wells, has supported me throughout my journey. Assisting me with documents for applying for my accreditation to become a Taxi Driver to paying for my fit for work medicals,” said Chloe.
“They are so kind and always welcoming when I’m in need of assistance. I would not be where I am without atWork Australia’s support,” said Chloe.
