atWork Australia is working with Australia Post in their commitment to build inclusion and accessibility for people living with disability through employment. By working closely with the Australia Post Talent Acquisition and Diversity Teams, atWork Australia supports the organisation to recruit people living with disability and increase disability representation throughout their workforce. atWork Australia also ensure sustainable placements by supporting both clients and Australia Post through the recruitment process, and throughout the client’s entire employment journey.

“We are proud of the close working relationship we have developed with Australia Post,” says Penny Evans, atWork Australia’s National Diversity Employer Manager. “We’re excited to continue working with Australia Post to change the lives of even more Australians living with disability, and support them to embed a diverse and inclusive workforce.”
Australia Post Diversity and Inclusion Partner Sharon Carroll said atWork Australia has helped the organisation achieve fantastic results.
“atWork Australia has helped us to successfully place 25 clients in a variety of roles across Australia. They’ve invested the time to understand the range of jobs we offer, and the steps in our recruitment and selection process, which has helped to increase their understanding of our roles, business processes and workforce requirements,” she said. “This has meant candidates are well matched in their job and also have a positive recruitment experience.”
This successful way of working together continues to enrich Australia Post’s workforce and the lives of the individuals involved. Like Australia Post, many organisations can benefit from accessing the full talent pool to employ a diverse workforce and atWork Australia looks forward to sharing more of these stories and their fantastic results.
