atWork Australia recently announced an official sponsorship with AFL Masters WA for their AFL Masters National Carnival Perth 2020
AFL Masters WA, located in WA are passionate about building a diverse community and equal opportunities through sport. With a shared commitment to inclusion, atWork Australia are proud to be sponsoring AFL Masters WA and are excited to see the results from the AFL Masters National Carnival in Perth this year.
WA State Manager for atWork Australia Disability Employment Services (DES) Claire Kavanagh said “atWork Australia is proud to be sponsoring the AFL masters team. Here at atWork Australia, we support those in the community who have disability, illness or mental health barriers to find employment. I strongly believe that sport and the involvement in a sporting community is a great way to assist in improving not only physical health but mental health and confidence.”
Nathan Dixon, from AFL Masters WA, stated “AFL Masters WA and atWork Australia exist with very similar values of being inclusive and accessible to all. We feel that the sponsorship with atWork Australia provides not only for employment opportunities for our players, but the opportunity for our clubs and players to be more active in the communities in which they reside.
The AFL Masters WA season commences on April 5th playing every 2nd week, Perth will be hosting this year AFL Masters National Carnival in Oct. We can’t wait to watch our logo be represented by such great players and cheer them on!
