atWork Australia partnered with Hungry Jacks on a national scale in early 2024. To achieve their business goals in Penrith, Hungry Jacks connected with the atWork Australia team, after being invited to a local First Steps to Success Event.
atWork Australia’s First Steps to Success Events allow local businesses to connect with eager clients, looking to progress on their journey to employment.
By attending the First Steps to Success event, local Hungry Jacks manager, Andrew, was able to connect with a range of atWork Australia clients, including Corey.
Whilst at the event, Corey was interviewed and Andrew discovered his passion for customer service, and experience working in fast food. Andrew was impressed with Corey, and he was hired.
With a new employee on board, local Employer Engagement Consultant, Jennifer, spoke with Andrew about the support available for both Hungry Jacks, and Corey within the next stages of their journey together.
“Employers like Hungry Jacks make my job easy. It’s a great feeling knowing that our clients are supported,” said Jennifer.
Off the back of their recent hire, Andrew has explained that he is looking forward to continuing to develop the partnership with atWork Australia.
While reflecting on his journey with atWork Australia, Andrew shares, “Corey is settling in very well.”
“His In-Work Support Coach, Mairlyn, and his Job Coach, Shalini made sure they were at Hungry Jacks on his first day, and offered face to face in-work-support for his first few shifts to ensure everything ran smoothly.”
