We are excited to announce that WorkFocus Australia has been awarded a three-year contract by the Commonwealth Government to provide employment services in the national Job Network.
As the only new provider in Western Australia and one of only six new providers nationally, we will offer specialist employment services to job seekers with disabilities. Our new office is located at Mirrabooka in the Mirrabooka Medical Centre, Perth, Western Australia.
Our experienced team of employment consultants led by Manager Michael Kolomyjec, Ms Jill Ashcroft and Mr Ian Tsolakis will service both job seekers and employers. They will be supported by occupational therapists, psychologists and labour market economists currently employed at WorkFocus Australia’s Subiaco office.
The Job Network appointment advances our expansion programme, which aims to offer our customers a more diverse and comprehensive range of services.
So what does it all mean?
- Even better return to work redeployment rates
We can now help injured workers access thousands of job opportunities through the Australian Jobs Database and new employer contacts. WorkFocus Australia’s return to work (RTW) rate for the redeployment of injured workers is already much higher than the industry average. With our new resources, we should achieve even better RTW rates for your injured workers on redeployment.
- Free new staff recruitment for employers
WorkFocus Australia can now recruit the job-ready staff employers need. And our service is free. Our employment service applies to job seekers with and without disabilities.
