The atWork Network!

25/03/2009

atWork Australia has introduced ‘The atWork Network’ which aims to encourage local businesses to attend an informal gathering , bi-monthly , to meet people from the local business arena. This provides local businesses with the opportunity to network with other local businesses, negotiate staff placements and to generate employment opportunities for candidates, with the atwork team.

Our first atWork Network event, hosted by the atWork Spearwood office was held on the 26th of February at the Trade Winds Hotel. The evening was a great success with many different employers joining us from Recruitment Agencies, Local Council, and small and medium local business - all of which we currently have relationships with. During the event, some new businesses were introduced to us, providing us with the opportunity to place candidates in the future. .

Some feedback from clients following our networking event:

"Thank you for organising the At Work network. We really enjoyed the many and it was a great opportunity to make contact and meet new people in our line of work. I look forward to the next gathering.” Martha Hill - Evolution Yachts

"Just thought I’d say thank you for the networking function at the Trade Winds Hotel. The bottle of wine I won was delicious – had it on the weekend! We will certainly make sure we can come to future networking events." Karen Lang, Sweet Soul Sisters

"It was great to finally meet you and put a face to the voice! Paul has been a fantastic candidate, and I look forward to working with you in the future." Mark Appleby, BDS Recruit

"You guys are the BEST and really enjoyed the event. I look forward to meeting with to discuss candidates for Scizzorman." Terry Vinci, Barmas Partners

The next Spearwood function will be held on Thursday 30th April, 2009. Given the success of the evening, our Mirrabooka office will be hosting similar bi-monthly functions in the Mirrabooka/ Malaga area - more news coming soon!
