New Name In The Market Backed By A History Of Success

16/10/2004

WorkFocus Australia, one of Australia's leading Job Network & Injury Management consultancies, has announced that its Job Network employment service has been renamed atWork Australia. Rob Gordon, WorkFocus Group CEO, said that "the Job Network business has developed and become successful to a point where it deserves it’s own identity. We view the change as a natural stage of the organisational development and it enables us to have a separate management structure so we can have focus and dedicated resources to continue to provide results for customers. The new name atWork Australia better reflects what we do". While visually a lot about the organisation seems to have changed - the name and the logo – atWork Australia is still providing the same result-oriented service that can be expected from one of the Job Networks top performers.

This is evidenced by the latest round of ratings issued by the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations who have again awarded atWork Australia a 5 star rating for its performance as a Job Network Provider. The 5 star rating reflects an excellent performance in placing job seekers into employment. Job Network Members are rated favourably for finding employment for highly disadvantaged job seekers including the long-term unemployed, disabled, Indigenous and matured aged candidates.

Only five per cent of Job Network members around the nation have been awarded a perfect 5 star rating. atWork Australia is not only a part of this top performing group but is also the only Job Network member in the Perth Metropolitan region to achieve 5 stars in the latest round of ratings. With similar performances in the last four consecutive rating periods, atWork Australia has shown a consistent dedication to lowering unemployment rates by helping people to transition from welfare payments to work.

Michael Kolomyjec, Manager of atWork Australia attributes the companies latest success to the professionally qualified experts on staff. "We are honest and realistic when dealing with job seekers and when we make a commitment to do something, we stick to that commitment. That’s what makes the difference." Mr Kolomyjec said.

The Job Network has helped record numbers of people to find jobs. Choosing a Job Network provider can be a daunting task and can ultimately have a big effect on employment outcomes for the job seeker. Peter Dutton, Minister for Workforce Participation says that by releasing the performance of local Job Network members, job seekers can make more informed decisions about their local providers. atWork Australia plans to build on its current successes and continue to make the choice for job seekers an easy one.
