Good news Story ACUG

Hundreds of companies talk about helping the community by supporting disadvantaged, disabled or long-term unemployed workers. However, far fewer companies actually manage to make a real difference, and that’s why the success of the Australian Container Unloading Group, or ACUG, is such a great story. By working closely with atWork Australia, ACUG has managed to turn their desire to diversify their employment pool into reality.

atWork Invests In Ongoing Skills Development

atWork Australia have announced that 12 staff members have successfully completed a Certificate IV in Career Development and Employment Services. The course was conducted during 2010 using various methods of education delivery including formal lectures, on the job training, evidence based learning and practical application of skills.
