atWork Australia launches Disability Management Services (DMS), formerly VRS
In December 2009, atWork Australia was successful in the Federal Government’s Disability Employment Services tender. This achievement endorsed atWork Australia’s position as a market leader with a proven track record of providing specialist services to job seekers with disabilities.
This new contract will begin 1 March 2010, with atWork Australia expanding its services to incorporate both generalist and specialist (mental health) contracts at all sites.
This expansion will also see a new office open its doors in Victoria Park, making a total of eight easily accessible atWork Australia sites available to job seekers.
atWork Australia’s Disability Management Services (DMS), formerly Vocational Rehabilitation Services (VRS), is provided via specialist resources at each site.
Each atWork Australia site provides, as a minimum, the following resources:
· DMS Case Managers
· JSA stream Case Managers
· Psychologist
· Occupational Therapist via WorkFocus Australia
· Counselling services
· Work Experience
· Reverse Marketers
· Job Placement Specialist (coming soon)
This one-stop-shop offers a seamless gateway to a range of specialist services in one location, with the continued focus being to link the right person with the right job quickly.
Additional resources are also provided at selected sites, including Mental Health Nurses, GPs specialising in mental health and Job Capacity Assessors.
