atWork Australia celebrates Sun Laundry's win

atWork Australia staff recently visited Bentley business, Sun Laundry, to congratulate them on their success in the Diversity @ Work Awards. Rob Gordon, CEO of The WorkFocus Group, and Debbie Van Lith, Marketing Consultant from the Northbridge atWork Australia office, shared their enthusiasm in Sun Laundry’s achievement and expressed their desire to continue the productive, positive relationship between atWork Australia and Sun Laundry.
Sun Laundry was awarded first place in the CALD (Culturally and Linguistically Diverse) category in the 7th Annual Diversity @ Work Awards. The awards, designed to honour businesses that display leadership in promoting cultural diversity in the workplace, were presented at a gala dinner in front of 650 guests at Melbourne’s Crown Entertainment Complex on November 1, 2007.
atWork Australia praises the contribution Sun Laundry is making to employees, the community and their continued growth in the market by accepting and supporting employees of various backgrounds and skills. Investment in staff has been integral in Sun Laundry’s success. The workforce has significantly returned on Sun Laundry’s investment in training and other initiatives with minimal staff turnover.
