Privacy Policy

  • atWork Australia is a Commonwealth Government contracted Provider of Australian Government Employment Services provider. 
  • We are an independently owned and operated company.
  • In order for us to co-ordinate Employment Services programmes, we must collect personal information. 
  • Personal information we collect may include name, age, address, medical details of any injury, illness or disability and details of jobs. 
  • Where possible, we collect personal information directly from the individual. 
  • We also collect information from other parties, including the doctor, previous employer and Centrelink. 
  • atWork Australia’s Employment Consultant will discuss how the information is used. 
  • We have a rigid system in place to ensure personal information is maintained in a confidential way. 
  • Individuals can request access to the personal information we have collected (subject to exemptions listed in the Privacy Legislation) through their Consultant or our Privacy Officer.
  • We aim to ensure that the personal information we collect and retain about you is accurate, complete and up to date.
  • We advise any third party receiving information (eg, doctor, prospective employer or other persons involved with the job seeking programme) that the personal information is confidential. 
  • If you have any questions concerning the privacy of information, please call and ask to speak to our Privacy Officer. 
  • atWork Australia’s Employment Consultant will seek your consent to proceed with the programme.
